Guidelines When Ordering Custom Art

REQUESTING A QUOTE
All commissions require a custom quote depending on size and composition. Please include as many details as possible about your project such as preferred size, number of people in the drawing, and what the artwork will be used for (as a gift, save the date artwork, commercial reproduction, etc.).

PENCIL SKETCH APPROVAL
Once the quote is approved and photos received, a pencil sketch will be created and sent to you for approval. Upon review of the pencil sketch the client has the opportunity to make a single round of changes, and then see a revised pencil sketch for final approval. If the client would like additional revisions at that point the modifications will incur an additional fee, and this will be communicated before the revisions are made.

RENDERING FINAL WORK
All artwork will be rendered in full color after the pencil sketch is approved. Unless a specific color scheme is requested artistic license will be taken. Once the art is colored the client will be presented with a digital file to review before the original is shipped and only minimal changes can be made at that point after the drawing is colored in. Please keep in mind all artwork is drawn by hand and is permanent once complete - no digital platform is used for drawing. 

Please note that while every effort is made to make each subject identifiable (through hair color, height, etc.), Amy’s illustration style is marked by exaggeration like long legs, large eyes and sweeping lashes, among other details. FINAL NOTE
Due to the custom nature of art, these guidelines may not apply to every project. These are standard guidelines. If the commission requires any deviation it will be promptly communicated during the quoting process. A copy of these guidelines, including any adjustments necessary for an individual project, will also be included when the project quote is sent. Approval of the quote assumes the client understands these guidelines and agrees to abide by them.
